Description:
Omnivore it adores the worms of vase and other small preys and needs a regular vegetable contribution.
The dry food is well accepted but must run quickly to escape voracity from faster fish.

Nutrition:

Anatomy: Yellow body anguilliforme of dress with 6 to 10 black bands which cover all the body except the lower part. The shape of these bands is variable and defined also certain subspecies. Have barbillons as of a small needle placed under the eyes (attention with a net!)

Behaviour: Gregarious species, to maintain in groups of 6 individuals strict minimum (ten or more remains preferable all the same for their wellbeing.)

Subject with very marked timidity if it misses congénaires or lives in a “naked” vat too much.

This fish will require a decoration rich in hiding-places.

Dimorphism: The females are larger and taller than the males and have ovules green in the belly. The male generally has a black spot on the front fins.

Reproduction: Some reproductions out of aquarium (best, an aquarium of hundreds of litres with plants of surfaces). Often due to a change of atmospheric pressure. One can also cause the reproduction by adding a broyat carp pituitary gland when the female khuli is ripe, which normally causes the reproduction. The partners swim side against side in all the aquarium, then they go up and go down violently against the pane. Then, the female lay eggs on the plants. The alevins must be nourished with microphone-towards and of the crushed spangles.

The Council for the aquariophilie: Must be maintained in a minimum litrage of 100L (80-100cm of frontage), which will offer a sufficient space of stroke to him.

Description :
Nutrition :Omnivore il adore les vers de vase et autres petites proies et a besoin d'un apport végétale régulier.Les aliments secs sont bien acceptés mais doivent couler le plus rapidement pour échapper à la voracité de poissons plus rapides.

Anatomie :Corps anguilliforme de robe jaune avec 6 à 10 bandes noires qui couvrent tout le corps sauf la partie inférieure. La forme de ces bandes est variable et défini aussi certaines sous-espèces. Dispose de barbillons ainsi que d'une petite aiguille placée sous les yeux (attention avec un filet!)

Comportement : Espèce grégaire, à maintenir en groupes de 6 individus strict minimum (une dizaine ou plus reste tout de même préférable pour leur bien-être.)

Sujet à la timidité très prononcée s'il manque de congénères ou vit dans un bac trop "nu".

Ce poisson demandera un décor riche en cachettes.

Dimorphisme : Les femelles sont plus grosses et plus grandes que les mâles et ont des ovules vertes dans le ventre. Le mâle a généralement une tache noire sur les nageoires avant.

Reproduction : Quelques reproductions en aquarium (le mieux, un aquarium d'une centaines de litres avec des plantes de surfaces). Souvent due à un changement de pression atmosphérique. On peut aussi provoquer la reproduction en ajoutant un broyat d'hypophyse de carpe quand la femelle khuli est mûre, ce qui normalement provoque la reproduction. Les partenaires nagent flanc contre flanc dans tout l'aquarium, puis ils montent et descendent violemment contre la vitre. Ensuite, la femelle ponds les oeufs sur les plantes. Les alevins doivent être nourris avec des micro-vers et des paillettes écrasées.

Conseil pour l'aquariophilie : Doit être maintenu dans un litrage minimum de 100L (80-100cm de façade), qui lui offrira un espace de nage suffisant.
